Welcome to OM Travels. By booking our taxi services or using our website, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. These terms are governed by the laws of India, including the Indian Contract Act, 1872 and the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988.
1. Bookings and Reservations
- All bookings are subject to vehicle availability. We recommend booking in advance, especially during peak seasons or festivals.
- The customer must provide accurate information regarding pickup location, drop location, time, and passenger count.
- OM Travels reserves the right to decline or cancel a booking if the requested service violates local laws or transport guidelines.
2. Fares and Payments
- Fares provided at the time of booking are estimates based on standard routes. Actual fares may vary depending on detours, waiting time, or toll taxes.
- Toll taxes, parking fees, state entry taxes, and monument entrance fees are typically not included in the base fare unless explicitly stated, and are to be borne by the customer.
- Payments can be made via Cash, UPI, or accepted digital payment methods upon completion of the trip or as agreed during booking.
3. Cancellations and Refunds
- Cancellations made 24 hours prior to the scheduled pickup time may not incur any charges.
- Late cancellations or "no-shows" may be subject to a cancellation fee.
- Refunds for advance payments (if applicable) will be processed within 5-7 working days as per Indian banking guidelines.
4. Passenger Responsibilities
- Passengers are responsible for their personal belongings. OM Travels and its drivers are not liable for any lost or damaged items left in the vehicle.
- Consumption of alcohol, smoking, or carrying illegal substances inside the vehicle is strictly prohibited as per Indian Law. The driver reserves the right to terminate the journey immediately if this rule is violated.
- Passengers are expected to behave courteously with the drivers. Any form of abuse or misbehavior will lead to immediate cancellation of service without refund.
5. Driver and Vehicle Policy
- We ensure all our drivers are experienced, hold valid commercial driving licenses, and our vehicles are commercially registered with valid permits across India.
- In the rare event of a vehicle breakdown, OM Travels will make best efforts to arrange an alternate vehicle as quickly as possible. We are not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control (e.g., traffic, weather, road closures).
6. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Jaipur, Rajasthan.
7. Modifications to Terms
OM Travels reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of our services following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
